I missed the Barcamp Pune last time. This time, me and a big bunch of our Nanocast Team were at the Barcamp Pune 2. Met many friends, the most interesting being those whom we knew through our blogs and finally meeting in person.
The event was awesome, the organizers were helpful and have done a good job. With the startup boom happening around each and every corner of India, it is fun and cool to see many enterprising developers, budding entrepreneur, dedicated geeks, tech freaks and all the other smart people.
I did my presentation and Nanocast was received with amazement as the Cool, Awesome Online Application. This time, I took the help of Abdul Qabiz in presenting our latest addition of the RSS Feed Widget and and the other Wow Factors. I was already confident of the Next Wave on the Internet from Barcamp Bangalore 2, people liked it for many reasons, many usage. It is huge, massive and can be turn, twisted around in any way that people are beginning to relate on how it can be used in almost any form they like. Nanocast also receives lots of critical comments which are the much needed feedbacks we want right now - few being; it is way overwhelming for a first time user, it is complicated (we’re working on making it simple yet deeply powerful), no concrete definition of target audience (we like this one). However, this is our alpha stage; if we can do this much at the alpha stage then just watch what we can do with the Beta and of course the Release version.
Please register if you wish to test this early alpha stage of Nanocast.
The evening gathering around the swimming pool was scenic enough to give us a refreshing makeover from our day’s tiredness. The dinner was good and we all enjoyed it.
