CSS Variables

It is very common to find repeated property values in a CSS stylesheet. CSS Variables allow authors to define variables that are reusable as property values anywhere in a stylesheet and queryable/modifiable through an extension of the CSS Object Model.

Official Apple iPhone in India by September

Apple iPhone will be available in India through Vodafone by early September this year. The initial model will be the 8GB iPhone which is expected to be under Rs. 30,000 while the 16GB model (price unknown) is expected during summer 2009.

Flash isn’t a mere third-party application, like a game or an instant-messaging client. It’s a plug-in that would have to work very closely with Safari on the iPhone, and that’s something Apple has declared off-limits to third-party developers at this time unless they get a hall pass.

Leopard enhanced Coda 1.1 released

The most important new feature added in Leopard is undoubtedly Time Machine, Apple’s attempt to encourage the vast majority of users who never, ever routinely back up their data to change their ways. Time Machine automatically backs up a Mac’s files to a separate hard drive (internal or external, though external is certainly safer and more convenient) or a network volume being shared by another Mac running Leopard.
